Fringe appears to suffer from the same malady as Grey's Anatomy, that the central character (Olivia Dunham) is neither particularly compelling as a character nor particularly well acted.

Excellent point. Maybe if they recast her character with JoAnna Garcia (because Privileged is getting creamed in the ratings) the show would get better. Then they could recast the writers.
