I got up this morning and right as I was clicking over to this page, I was like "Jeff & Jason haven't skewered the New Kids yet. That's gotta happen at some point". Lo and behold, Popdose opens up to a funky New Kids Mellowmas. Miss Cleo has nothing on me.
..and for what it's worth, I know every single God-forsaken word to this song. Not only that, but I still own this album. Actually, when it was re-released this year, I bought it on CD finally. And...I actually kind of like it. Jeff, you sure you still want me on your staff?

I'm sorry, but the Public Enemy impression at the end made me laugh my ass off. And the lack of a bass line? Genius, "When Doves Cry"-type genius. All hail the New Kids.

Two things:
#1. No one called out Donnie's awesome percussion solo? That's presumably Donnie on Woodblock and Vibra-Slap too. Tito Puente ain't got nothing on Donnie.
#2. At the 4 minute mark, I don't know who that is rapping, but they are trying desperately to be Chuck D from Public Enemy, down to having someone behind him going"Yeahhhh Boyyyyyyy!" I'd like to think Chuck D had everyone responsible killed shortly after hearing this.
