I've always been a Boston fan and apologist for the post 70's releases. It had been decades since I last spinned this one, and I have to say the first time through I hadn't remembered how cringeworthy the whole thing sounded both musically and lyrically. I put it aside for a couple weeks, but gave it another spin a few days ago. I cannot get Hollyann out of my head. It really is a great ballad. The second half of the album redeems the front half. I guess I needed to be in the right headspace to reconnect with it.</p>
