Each of these albums by established stars (I'm not including Paramore and Foxboro Hottubs here...) are weaker than previous efforts, have received scathing reviews and yet are just as, if not more, popular than former releases. If there was ever an indication that the end of critical relevance was near...

I don't disagree with what you're saying, but because of single downloads, it doesn't really matter (with the kids, that is) if most of the album is crap. As long as a few songs are good, that's good enough for them - and damn the critics. :-)

I LOVE the first Killers album but haven't really been able to dig anything they've done since.
