Emphasizing the bass was the right choice, as was keeping the guitar solo in the end. And there's no song that can't be improved by turning up the drums! The remix has a Trevor Horn feel but sounds more organic than FGTH/Propaganda's stuff. Brilliant, brilliant.

Re: White Label Wednesday: Animotion, “Obsession”

Always thought this song had a great bass line. And the bassist wound up marrying Astrid Plane. According to Wikipedia, she gives voice lessons.

Re: White Label Wednesday: Animotion, “Obsession”

Plane & Wadhams' vocals left me cold, but musically speaking, Animotion did some interesting things. I LOVE "I Engineer", and "Let Him Go" had this cool hyper-electro groove to it. I consider them a tick above one-hit wonder.

Re: White Label Wednesday: Animotion, “Obsession”

Device...yeah. Does anyone else remember them?

By the way, great job David (that Kiss review is coming your way tonight)
