I listened to this remix with Berry's reminisces in mind--I'd never compared it to the single mix before, and I'm amazed that he found a brilliant song in there. Emphasizing the bass was the right choice, as was keeping the guitar solo in the end. And there's no song that can't be improved by turning up the drums! The remix has a Trevor Horn feel but sounds more organic than FGTH/Propaganda's stuff. Brilliant, brilliant.

Always thought this song had a great bass line. And the bassist wound up marrying Astrid Plane. According to Wikipedia, she gives voice lessons.

Plane & Wadhams' vocals left me cold, but musically speaking, Animotion did some interesting things. I LOVE "I Engineer", and "Let Him Go" had this cool hyper-electro groove to it. I consider them a tick above one-hit wonder.

I love Holly Knight (co-writer of this song) and the guy who went on to sing for Animotion (Paul Engemann) and her had a band called Device around this time. Does anyone else remember them?
